Style Post: The5kshop Floral Shift Dress
Yasss tis the season to be colourful...and comfortable. Whenever I see shift dresses I automatically think comfort, casual outing, flat sandals, messy hair, no makeup and sunglasses. Wrong, you can actually wear shift dresses to just any event depending on how you style it. So if you're looking for something to wear for an event, maybe a birthday party, bridal/baby shower and even weddings, this Floral piece from The5kshop comes in handy especially this Spring/Summer season!

I am going out on a LIMB!
Hey guys! I'm back again with the Irede Foundation for their new project which will be coming up in a few days. Do you remember their previous project tagged "Project 1000"? You can read all about it here
This year the Irede Foundation's annual awareness walk tagged "Out on a Limb" will be coming up on the 8th of April, the theme for this year's walk is SAY NO TO INEQUALITY in line with the United Nations Sustainanble Goal 10. We are using our voice to say that children living with disability should not be stigmatised, discriminated or treated unfairly.
See Official Document by The Irede Foundation below:

A
group of Nigerians concerned about the plight of children with acquired or
congenital limb loss has inaugurated a Non-Governmental Organization called The

by providing them with artificial limbs to enable them to live well and move
freely.
As
part of activities to create awareness for children living with this condition
the foundation has an annual walk tagged ‘Out on a Limb’, this year’s walk is
focused on putting an end to Inequality, Discrimination and Stigmatization

amputees within the year 2017. This is a 30% increase compared to what we
achieved last year (20 limbs were given in 2016). Providing 30 limbs can be
made possible through donations and partnerships from well-meaning/philanthropic
individuals, organizations and various governmental bodies.
The IREDE Foundation was founded in 2012 by
Crystal Chigbu, mother of 7 year old Irede Beulah Chigbu who was born with
congenital limb deformity as a means to assist indigent children living with
limb loss, gain access to prostheses that would enable them live independently.
The IREDE Foundation will continue to stage “Out on a Limb” annually to create
public awareness to the plight of child amputees.
