Hair matter with Uche!

Hey guys! I'm back again with the natural hair issue. I know the previous natural hair posts were helpful and they encouraged someone to finally go natural (I did...again). So here's what this foine mua Uche had to say about her natural hair lifestyle!

Who are you?
Obikwelu Uche aka Kourtney...A medical laboratory scientist/ Makeup artist/ Natural hair eenthusiast

When did you decide to go natural and how long have you been natural for?
I decided 4years ago and and I've been natural for 3 and a half years now.

Did you transition or big chop?
Big chop

What prompted your decision?
I had what you call chemical damage that led to shedding and thinning of my hair. So I felt there was no point keeping the hair! Shaved it all up and started again.

What is your hair regime?
It's more of your style than regime! I don't shampoo..I wash my hair with conditioner because shampoo strips my hair off its natural oils. I deep condition (DIY) once a month..Leave in and seal with oils.

What products do you use?
Ranges from Tresemme (favourite) to Shea moisture and Cantu

How many times do you wash?
Once a week (Once I find the strength lol)

What are the cheapest places to get these products?
For now I shop mostly from Casabella (Found at any shoprite mall) or I order online from beauty stores

What is the most important product for a naturalista to own?
Spray bottle (It's not a product but you can't function without it).

What's your take on detangling, is there an easy way to go about it?
I'm still trying to find an easier way, still a hurdle for me. But I'm surely going to do a post on that soon.

Do you get headaches while combing?
Nope (years of enduring the pain)

Are there supplements for hair growth?
Yes, there's hairfinity pills, Manetabolism, Hair skin and nails..

What's your advice for someone who wants to go natural but doesn't want the stress of detangling?
There's no advice, No pain no gain
😜
Is there a platform where people can follow your daily hair routine?
Still working on it because that would mean blogging everyday and with the way my life is set up....... (I doubt) but you can check out my blog www.beautebeats.com I will surely try to keep my followers updated and there is SHOP section where you can equally get some of the products I use/ don't use but are still important. Thank you God bless you, I love you all.

You guys have heard it all from Uche! If you have any questions, comments or suggestions I'd be happy to hear them!
